Lately, I came across a few clients having belly button complications after a tummy tuck. Those ladies had surgeries abroad.
I saw some amazing work coming from abroad, and some good and bad surgeries coming from the best UK clinics, 🥴so please don’t judge them for going abroad.
The thing that I want to highlight is, that if things go wrong, nobody wants to take on somebody else’s work and responsibility.
No NHS, not even a private clinic. I don’t like taking on someone else’s work and fixing mistakes, no one does …
It is very frustrating, sad, and disappointing to hear the stories that ladies went through. 😬
☝️So if things go wrong you do need to have a backup plan.
Before you go, do your research, find a place where you can go for a check-up, and medical help if needed.
Find your post-op care therapist and have a consultation with them before you go for surgery, they will help you to prepare for the surgery in the best possible way and plan your aftercare.
Also, do everything you can to avoid complications. 🙌
You’d be surprised to know how basic things like a healthy lifestyle, rest, and compression garments are essential for a fast recovery.
